Damon Drums is a small custom drum shop nestled in the St. Lawrence Valley of Northern New York where the Northern Slope of the Adirondack Mountains meet the St. Lawrence River.

Owner and drumsmith Tim Damon has been a renowned master craftsman for decades and is most widely known for producing the highest quality fly-fishing rods.  His quality craftsmanship caused his previous business to grow into a world renowned operation with dealers in 6 different countries and his clients included two US Presidents, a Secretary of State, Captains of Industry and some of the most famous people in the sport.
After retiring and closing Damon Rods, Tim turned his efforts toward his other passion -- drumming.  After years of research, Tim began producing prototype solid hardwood, stave construction drums and he worked with professional percussionists to refine the products and processes.  Damon Drums is now producing a limited quantity of handcrafted custom solid hardwood, stave drums and shells for discriminating customers.
